Studio lockdown fun last night-had tons of fun doing a shootout ! What could be better than playing loud through a Plexi to compare 2x Marshall JTM 45/100 40th Anniversary cabs- One fitted with a quad of Celestion Alnico T652 speakers, the other fitted with a super cool mix of T652 alnicos and the amazing Celestion Greenback "C" ceramic magnet speakers- fitted in an X pattern-Massive thanks to Maurice Gregoire for fitting the speakers in the most professional and enthusiastic manner as always! We had some serious fun playing through 3 amazing Plexis in the studio! Two Cornell Plexi 45/50's... Cornell Amps and the real thing... well, a Marshall aluminum panel ( aka Metal panel) JMP 50 small box head from 1970...the same circuit as the 1969 Plexi!
